Before the ascension ceremony, Zulekha decides to help Jahan Ara flee the village with Bakhtiar. When Jahan Ara hesitates, Zulekha promises to take care of everything and make preparations for her departure. On their way, Bakhtiar thinks selflessly and realizes that Shahmeer’s sacrifices will go to waste if Jahan Ara leaves everything behind.
He decides to turn back but just then, Murad shoots him to death. Qaiser grabs the opportunity and takes Jahan Ara captive. Forgetting the sanctity of Badshah Begum, he attempts to exploit her innocence. Shahzaib resents Zulekha when he finds out that she helped Jahan Ara flee. Khalifa Nawaz suggests carrying out the ascension ceremony, disguising Roshan Ara as Badshah Begum.
During the ceremony, Gulnar finally declares Murad to be her culprit. To prove himself to be a just leader, Shahzaib unwillingly punishes Murad by giving him a death sentence. Although Murad begs forgiveness, Gulnar heartlessly kills him publicly.
