Anum protests against her father’s decision and refuses to discontinue her studies. Seeing her rebellious behavior, Maham suggests her mother marry Anum. Despite Shakir’s decision, Anum goes to the university. However, she falls from a bus and ends up hurting her knee. Faraz’s landlord, Zafar, helps drop her home and later informs Shakir about the incident.
Shakir feels humiliated and worthless after realizing that Anum disobeyed him. He decides it is wise to marry her as soon as possible. When Anum finds out about his decision, she starts yelling at her father, refusing to marry. Shakir fears that Anum might follow in the footsteps of her friend and escape from the house. Bewildered, he experiences a heart attack and Faraz rushes him to the hospital.
Shagufta’s immorality lands her in huge trouble when she exploits a helpless family by robbing them of their heirloom jewelry.
